It is a condtion of free use of our material that you email DDRL with details of such use you can then download clips or view them directly if you have a movie plug-in for your browser.

Editing Clips

1. Clips can be edited in most video editing package or use simple freeware such as Windows Movie Maker.
2. Custom editing of your footage can be undertaken by request. Contact Andrew Cooper, info@ddrl.co.uk

Technical Specifications

DDRL aerial imagery was acquired using a helicopter mounted Cineflex High Definition system. This comprises a fully digital, 5-axis gyro stabilised mount, incorporating a Sony HDC-F950 camera with Fujinon HA42 x 9.7 lens.
The onboard helicopter HD camera records uses a broadcast quality solid state drive.
Other HD video footage is acquired using low dispersion lenses on Canon DSLRs and GoPro cameras.

High quality, four track atmosphere sound recorded using coincident, stereo paired microphones direct to compact flash.

Free download files available in MPEG-4, frame size 720 x 576, 25 fps, PAL, other formats available.

Aerial HD footage available in 1920x1080 50i on request

PAL format 25 fps for UK broadcast can be converted to NTSC for USA. Please contact us.
